BELLEROPHON Vessel Planning (VP) is the next generation of stowage planning systems designed to assist ship planners in shipping lines, terminals and marine agencies in efficiently loading and discharging container cargo to/from ships. This market leading software provides the ideal tool for ship planning and stowage coordination. BELLEROPHON VP is both powerful and versatile in meeting the needs of today's ship operations. The system is capable of managing the complexities of joint services, consortia, slot sharing agreements, transhipments and terminal ship planning. With user friendly customisable screens BELLEROPHON VP allows the planners to create lines services and port schedules, perform stability and stress calculations and create Hazardous Document of Compliance reports.
The main functionality of the software includes:
- Integrated Profile Creation Tools - Bayplan, stability and stress, Hazardous Document of Compliance, line of sight, propeller immersion and air draft.
- Views - Multiple twin bays, zoom / scroll, multiple screens, 2D or 3D displays, side views, line of sight, tanks & printable screens (WYSIWYG).
- Reports - Customised to meet client's requirements and including an ingenuity reporting tool.
- Ship Planning – User customisable screens with the ability to filter and sort data; create lines, services and port schedules; perform discharge, load and restow operations. Line allocation and performance metrics. Fully VGM compliant.
- EDI messaging - Fully embedded UN EDIFACT translators including BAPLIE, COARRI, COPRAR, MOVINS, IFTDGN messages with all current and future versions included. Additionally, Excel (CSV format) booking Lists, XML and text. A separate integrator module is capable of processing client customised EDI messages.
- Stability/Stress calculations - All current and future standard IMO and Classification Society rules. Calculations based on our Class approved loading computer program.
- Hazardous Segregation - Integrated IMDG hazardous database with the latest amendments and future changes included. Document of Compliance and slot restriction checks. Detailed views, reports and analysis.
- Port History – Complete voyage history with the ability to rewind to any previous port to view from any point in time. Version control in any port call for different planning scenarios.
- 3rd Party Interfaces – Client’s own systems can be linked to the Vessel Planning system via EDI file transfer, the integrator module, direct integration of the SQL Server database or the Software Developers Toolkit (SDK).
- System Security & Back Up – Includes data held on a central database server which offers greater security, easier central backup and greater extensibility. Individual level security is included (10 levels) from view/read only, up to administrator level (with passwords).
- Technology – Client server environment or a fully hosted cloud installation which can be run from desktop PCs, laptops and tablet devices including touch screen devices.
